The Rev. Kimi Riegel & Worship Associate: Nancy Smith

We work very hard so our words don’t offend.  What limits does that put on communication? What are the ways we can redefine words and retake them as our own?  Bio: The Rev. Kimi Riegel serves the Northwest Unitarian Universalist Church in Southfield. She was born and raised in the Unitarian Universalist tradition. Kimi, as she prefers to be called, considers the community life to be the most important part of her calling. She loves committee work and church potlucks. From high school protests through grad school organizing, she has been passionate about anti-oppression work her whole life. Kimi’s preaching style is warm and informed, with a foundation in story and the world religions.
