Our Next Service

Sundays at 11:00am

Worship Services are held each Sunday at 11 am. We are offering in-person services as well as online streaming services via our Facebook page. Our minister conducts approximately two services a month year-round. Rev. Dan’s sermons are engaging, thoughtful, and inspiring, and cover a wide range of relevant topics. On Sundays when Rev. Dan is not in the pulpit, we offer services by guest speakers and lay worship leaders who provide a diversity of voices and viewpoints.

“John’s Garden”

November 8, 2026

Rev. Dan Miyake

The pumpkins in Farmer John’s garden have a pretty good life. They have sunshine, water, a safe place to grow—and no idea what Halloween has in store for them. When they learn that their lives are about to change, they have some very different reactions. UU singer/songwriter Peter Mayer’s song, “John’s Garden”, gives us a playful way to think about fear, transformation, and what we do with the brief time we have to shine.

Everyone is invited to bring their furry, feathered, or scaly friends to receive special blessing. Dogs must be leashed at all times. We will also take a moment to pay tribute to beloved pets who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge during the past year. We will have a special altar set up where you can bring a photo or other trinket such as a favorite toy or collar and place it on the altar in remembrance. Finally, it will also be Bring a Friend Sunday, so let’s see how many visitors we can welcome!
