Chris Crass, one of the founders of the national group Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ), will be in Michigan this month for a session with faith leaders titled “What is the call upon Michigan faith leaders for racial justice in this time?”  The event is Friday, November 13thfrom 10:30 am to 1:30pm, and is held at the First Congregational Church of Battle Creek, 145 Capital Ave. NE, Battle Creek, MI.  Rev. Cindy will be attending and would love to have some UUCEL members join her.  No registration is necessary, but please tell Rev. Cindy if you’re thinking of attending.
