Changes in our denomination are happening quickly these days.  As Rev. Cindy prepares to leave for General Assembly, she’ll catch us up on the changes in our faith and the issues in front of us.

This year is the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Unitarian Church in Prague, where the flower communion was created. We’ll celebrate with them as we share our flower communion together.  Bring a flower representing yourself and add it to the bouquet of humanity.

Kahlil Gibran wrote, “Your children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of life’s longing for itself.” Rev. Cindy will explore how parenting is a series of letting go. Our Mother’s Day service this year will also feature a child dedication.

On the eve of Yom Hashoah, the Holocaust Memor-ial Day, our service will talk about acts of resistance to oppression from WWII to the present day.
